Spring 2020

On Thursday, March 19, 2020, at 10:51 pm CDT, the Sun will move into Aries. This marks the beginning of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere.

Aries is a Cardinal Fire sign, full of spirit and enthusiastic, which can be very inspirational to others. Aries also has the drive to lead others and to initiate action.

Interestingly enough, the predominant energy in the chart marking the beginning of Spring is not Fire, the element that is associated with Aries, but Earth. There are six planets in Earth: Mars, Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn; and Uranus and Venus in Taurus.

We’ve seen some negative Earth energy in recent weeks: lacking vision, resistant to change, conservative, slow.

The positive energy associated with Earth is what is needed now: stable, abundant, practical and realistic. Focus on these qualities and draw them into your heart and mind. Allow them to bring you peace.
