It’s amazing how many people will ding your car and drive off without letting you know. I heard back from the other party, who expressed gratitude for me leaving a note. The servers in the restaurant were grateful to me as well. They told me that their cars get hit while they are at work and no one leaves a note. I couldn’t not! I certainly wouldn’t appreciate if someone had done that to me.
