Misunderstandings in communication are possible.  Take care that you are understood, and that you understand what is being conveyed to you as well.

There is an element of control or restriction here that creates mystery or confusion about the messages from others.

Imagine going to a foreign country where you don’t speak the language and are unfamiliar with the customs and slang.  How can you be sure you understand what is being said to you? And, can you trust that your message will be understood in the way that you intended?

Call upon your personal resources to come up with new, perhaps unique ways of relating to someone who is close to your heart.  Take a class together.  Discuss what you have learned, and through sharing this information develop an even closer bond and understanding of each other.
